William (Billy) Tomlinson
Attorney
Billy Tomlinson is an attorney with broad experience across the civil law spectrum and a practice grounded in thoughtful, client-centered advocacy. He began his legal career in family law and has handled matters involving real property, Indian law, forcible entry and detainer (evictions), and small claims litigation. Today, Mr. Tomlinson’s practice is primarily focused on probate, where he helps families navigate complex legal processes with clarity, efficiency, and care—handling the legal details so clients can focus on what matters most.
Although Rogers County is his home, Mr. Tomlinson represents probate clients throughout the State of Oklahoma. He is particularly passionate about serving the elders of Rogers County, assisting individuals and families with estate planning and adult guardianship to help preserve independence, safeguard assets, and ensure appropriate care as clients age.
Mr. Tomlinson graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his degree in history. He went on to attend the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he was actively involved in student leadership. He served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association and President of the Oil, Gas, and Natural Resources Law Society, participated as the student representative on the search committee for the new Dean of Law, and gave campus tours to prospective students. He also studied law abroad at Oxford University.
Originally from Mesquite, Texas, Mr. Tomlinson is now a proud resident of Rogers County. Outside of his practice, he is an avid dog lover and values being an engaged member of the community he serves.
